We are a recruitment agency and recruitment business and we collect data on candidates (prospective/live/ placed) and clients to carry out our core business.

The information you give to us in written correspondence, submission of Curriculum Vitae (CV), verbally or by other requests from us fulfilled by you includes your name, address, email addresses, phone numbers, qualifications, experience, right to work in the United Kingdom, photographs, references and other items included on your CV. We also use professional profiles available in the public domain (eg. LinkedIn). Due to our size and focus we do not use our website to collect, use or keep any data (except what you choose to send if you use it to submit your CV) from your visits to: www.charlottestreetenconsulting.com such as IP Address or URL, etc.

The core of our business is introducing the best candidates to the right clients for permanent engagement or independent contract and prefer to support candidates throughout their careers and clients with their ongoing staffing needs. As such the legal basis for us holding and processing your personal data is this legitimate business interest.

We will obtain your consent to lawfully gather, process, keep or share your personal information either verbally or in written communication and, where consent is the lawful basis of our processing you have the right to withdraw your consent to this processing at any time. Your personal data will only be retained as long as it is required for our legitimate business interests and as long as you are happy for us to do so. We do our best to ensure that your data is stored and sent as securely as possible and do not retain paper copies or soft copies outside an encrypted environment any longer than is necessary for legitimate business purposes.

• Access – so you can ask us what data we have and how we use, keep and share it.
